It’s Easter Sunday, it’s a beautiful day and here in Porthleven and I am sitting in our gorgeous holiday home with the most wonderful view. Wow…so many adjectives in one sentence! But here in Cornwall it’s easy to go overboard and use them in abundance to describe this very special corner of England.
We went for a walk yesterday evening down by the harbour. The sun was setting and the sea was calm. It really was a very lovely moment. So, for a change, I’m not going to waffle on, but share a few images instead. I’m going to pop some in of our cottage too because It is just so beautiful. Poor Mr R has his work cut out for him when we get home because I now want our house totally redecorated, and he’s not too impressed that only Farrow and Ball paint will do!
Our lovely home for the week, Captain’s Cottage was rented through Porthleven Holiday Cottages, a local company with a portfolio of fabulous properties to rent in Porthleven.
It looks gorgeous! Such a beautiful spot! Glad your having a wonderful time. Happy Easter x

Thanks Ellen. It really is beautiful here and that’swhy we keep returning. This is our first visit in Spring and we are loving the longer days. We are used to coming in the winter months. To still be outside after 7pm is a real treat!
Hope that you too enjoy today and that you are blessed with fab weather just as we are.
