A chilled 5 days
The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The choice of food was wide - Indian, Thai, Japanese and Western - and delicious. The portions were good value too. The monkeys were entertaining but it was important to keep the additional catch on the door to keep them out of your room! Having the buggy service was a plus.Read moreDate of stay : April 2025 -

Amazing Hotel!
One thing very memorable was on our arrival as it was our 10-year anniversary, the staff had gone to the effort of making a beautiful āhappy anniversaryā decoration out leafs and flowers on the bed including two swan towels. We would like to thank you all for making our anniversary so special.Read moreDate of stay : March 2025 -

Krabi, Centara Grand Dream Holiday!
I've dreamed of staying here for almost 20 years .. so it was a real bucket list experience. Felt like coming to fantasy island as we had the shuttle speed boat to the resort all to ourselves! The scenery, setting, backdrop of cliffs, views out to sea and Ao Nang Tower were just heaven. The staff were phenomenal. So warm, welcoming, friendly and efficient. All of them smiling and kind. It's sad to see other guests not showing respect to the staff .. some other guests were rude and had no manners ... But the staff were always kind and respectful. The restaurants on site were beautiful and the food was delicious with a wide and varied menu. Coming from UK though the exchange rates of about 43THB to 1 GBP ... proved to be almost as expensive as the UK so meals in the resort were kind of overpriced for us. But it's a captive market as there's nowhere else to eat . so we survived mainly on pizza and basic Thai dishes. Steaks were very expensive! but we spoke to some Americans who were finding everything so so cheap . so they were enjoying the exchange rate from their US Dollar! The location was remote and wonderful. The shuttle boats were great but the climb over and back via monkey trail was exciting and fun .. but not if you've mobility issues or unfit. It is a gruelling 15 minute climb up very steep and uneven steps with a rickety and often broken, handrail... but we adored it every day!! And was fun at night too!! But must wear sensible footwear as you could do yourself a serious injury... and don't carry too many bags as you need free hands to grab onto the bamboo rails!! You'll feel like Indiana Jones! Such an adventure staying here. It's not 100% perfection... but damn well near. Loved it , loved the staff, views, setting. Didn't love - overpriced for us UK folk -food ... but we didn't starve! And Ao Nang was only 20 min walk away to cheaper places.Read moreDate of stay : March 2025 -

Simply stunning
I loved this place from the moment the lingtail boat got to the jetty. The outlook is simply amazing. Privacy but not feeing secluded. The monkey trail was steep but took us 10muns to walk. Then easy to grab a tub tuk to explore ao nang. (Markets awesome) or book the complementary boat to the pier. Food at the resort was pricey. Only negative really. We had our wedding here and it was flawless. Plus they gave us a room upgrade and wow just wow. Would come backRead moreDate of stay : March 2025 -

Beautiful location but renovations are needed
We absolutely loved the location setting for this resort and it would be 5 stars if the rooms/buildings had some maintenance completed. If youāre looking to book, please note that it is accessible by boat shuttle on a timed schedule provided by the resort (every 1-1.5 hrs) or you have to pay for a private boat ride which can be a bit pricey for one way. There is one other option that we took to get to Ao Nang and that is by hiking monkey trail. The staff were excellent and thereās live music or entertainment in the evenings. Breakfast buffet was just okay for us but we enjoyed the food & drink in the club lounge for afternoon tea & evening snacks. We heard that the resort will be closed for 20 months for renovations which is much needed to fix and update the buildings and rooms.Read moreDate of stay : January 2025
